the academy
The F8 (pronounced FATE) Academy; a musicians' incubator where young songwriters and music producers aged 12 through 17 (Summer Programs) & 18 through 24 (Ongoing) embark on a transformative journey to hone their skills for the marketplace. Within a high sensory environment, emerging talents are nurtured and guided by experienced mentors. The F8 Academy provides a supportive platform for young musicians to develop their unique art. Here, creativity thrives and early networking begins as they refine their craft, collaborate with peers, and prepare for a bright and well guided future in the industry.
the engine room
On a ship, the engine room (also known as the ER), houses the vessel's prime mover; a machine for marine propulsion. It’s the system used to generate thrust, gliding the vessel through water. Likewise, Figure Eight Collective named its full music creation entity, The Engine Room, due to the pivotal role of a composition, in all that is to come. Be it a movie theme, or an impactful, genre-bending commercial record, we recognize that crafting that song is a critical first step.
The Engine Room is a collective of exceptional music producers, songwriters, composers, and engineers known as the ER crew. Readying to help generate that thrust for the heavy waters ahead, the crew fuels the music with passion and expertise. With their input, a song becomes the driving force behind the extraordinary moments we live.

Anything creator based, from comedic talent to acting, designing, and more, The Network serves as both management, agency and in some cases IP developer and collaborator for offerings in TV, Film & New Media.
